Value-Added Fertilizers Enhanced Growth, Yield and Nutrient Use Efficiency through Reduced Ammonia Volatilization Losses under Maize–Rice Cropping Cultivation

Plant nutrition is an essential element for crop production and enormous amounts of fertilizers are used in agricultural systems. However, these sources emit toxic gasses compounds the environment that not only deteriorate soil quality but also cause a reduction use efficiency applied nutrients. Therefore, value addition fertilizer by coating micronutrients, microbes, polymers or other organic inorganic have been advocated recently. The present study aimed to evaluate effectiveness value-added growth yield improvement Zea mays (Pioneer-30T60) Oryza sativa (Super Basmati-515) with ammonia volatilization nutrient recovery grains. Different phosphorus (P), potassium (K) nitrogen (N) (Di-ammonium phosphate (DAP), polymer coated DAP, zarkhez plus NPK, urea, polymer-coated urea zabardast urea) were different combinations keeping one control N. results revealed maximum growth, was shown DAP followed NPK urea. Moreover, minimum emission recorded fertilizers, found inefficient reducing emission, though improved all attributes. Nutrient patterned as; > + DAP. Thus, beneficial both improving benefits.
